2000–01 Divizia C

The 2000–01 Divizia C was the 45th season of Liga III, the third tier of the Romanian football league system.[1][2]

Inter Giurgiu was renamed as Inter Dunărea Giurgiu.

CSȘ Târgu Neamț was renamed as Silvex Târgu Neamț.

Motorul Astra Arad was renamed as Astra Trinity Arad.

Robema Roșiori was renamed as Bere Roșiori.

Agricultorul Gârbovi was renamed as Dinamo Agricultorul Gârbovi.

Sticla Turda was renamed as Arieșul Turda.

Agricultorul Urziceni was renamed as Unirea Urziceni.

Vrancart Adjud was renamed as Romastrans Adjud.

Cimentul Medgidia was renamed as Municipal Medgidia.

Rova Roșiori was renamed as Municipal Roșiori.

Minerul Horezu was renamed as Prelcon Horezu.

Laminorul Beclean was renamed as Someș Gaz Beclean.

Progresul Șomcuta Mare was renamed as Liber Humana Șomcuta Mare.

Fortus Iași was renamed as Unirea 2000 Iași.

Acvaterm Râmnicu Sărat was renamed as Olimpia Râmnicu Sărat.

Neoconstruct Mihai Bravu was renamed as Neoconstructorul Mihai Bravu.

Telecom Iași bought the place of Viitorul Pașcani.

Pro Mobila Vatra Dornei was moved from Vatra Dornei to Crucea and renamed as Pro Mobila Crucea.
