The 2001–02 UEFA Cup second round was played from 16 October to 1 November 2001. The round consisted of 24 ties, with the winners advancing to the third round of the 2001–02 UEFA Cup.[1]
Draw
editThe draw was held on 28 September 2001, 12:00 CEST, at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.[2] Teams were divided into geographical groups, each with seeded and unseeded pots.[3]
