Local elections were held in Antipolo on Monday, May 13, 2019, as a part of the 2019 Philippine general election. Voters elected candidates for the local elective posts in the city: the mayor, the vice mayor, the two district representatives, the two provincial board members (one for each district) and the sixteen councilors (eight for each district).[1]

There are a total of 336,773 people who voted out of the 482,062 registered voters.[2]
Background
editMayor Casimiro "Jun" Ynares III was on his second term. Although eligible to run for re-election, he did not. His party chosen his wife, former child actress Andrea Bautista-Ynares, younger sister of Senator Bong Revilla. Bautista-Ynares ran unopposed.[3]
Vice Mayor Josefina "Pining" Gatlabayan ran for second term unopposed.
First District Rep. Chiqui Roa-Puno was on her second term. Although eligible to run for re-election, she did not. Her party chosen his husband, former Rep. Roberto "Robbie" Puno. Puno was challenged by Macario Aggarao.
Second District Rep. Romeo "Romy" Acop was term-limited. His wife, Dr. Resureccion "Cion" Acop ran for his place unopposed.
First District Board Member Enrico "Rico" De Guzman did not run for re-election, instead he ran as councilor. His party chosen Roberto Andres "Randy" Puno, son of former Rep. Roberto "Robbie" Puno, . Puno was initially challenged by Delfin Bacon, who withdrew his candidacy before election.
Second District Board Member Atty. Jesus Angelito "Joel" Huertas Jr. was term-limited, and he ran as councilor instead. Former Councilor Alexander "Bobot" Marquez ran for his place instead. Marquez was challenged by Edelberto "Edel" Coronado.
