2019 Widnes Vikings season

In the 2019 rugby league season, Widnes Vikings competed in the RFL Championship, the Challenge Cup and the 1895 Cup. It was the first season since their relegation from the Super League at the end of 2018.[1] Widnes began the season on -12 points after going into administration, but following a takeover and the appointment of a new board of directors the club were able to maintain their Championship status and reach the final of the 1895 Cup.[2]
