Previous season
editThe Mean Green finished the 2023–24 season 19–15, 10–8 in AAC play to finish in seventh place. They defeated Tulane in the first round of the AAC tournament before losing to Florida Atlantic in the quarterfinals. They received an at-large bid to the National Invitation Tournament. They defeated LSU in the first round before losing in the second round to Seton Hall.
