The 2024–25 Virginia Cavaliers women's basketball team will represent the University of Virginia during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cavaliers will be led by third-year head coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton, and will play their home games at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Previous season
editThe Cavaliers finished the season 16–16 overall and 7–11 in ACC play to finish in a tie for tenth place. As the eleventh seed in the ACC tournament, they lost to fourteenth seed Wake Forest in the first round. They received an at-large invitation to the inaugural WBIT.[1] As a fourth seed they defeated High Point in the first round before losing to first seed Villanova to end their season.
