The 2024–25 Sheffield Shield season is the current and 123rd season of the Australian inter-state domestic first-class cricket competition. Cricket Australia revealed the season fixtures in July of 2024.[1] The season started on 8 October 2024 and the final is scheduled to be played on 26 March 2025. Western Australia are the defending champions.[2][3]
