Host selection
editOriginally, Ireland and Scotland were given the hosting rights together on 12 October 2022.[2] However, in August 2023, Scotland withdrew due to financial reasons.[3] Bulgaria took their place as a co-host. Ireland's portion of the event marks the first time a EuroVolley event at any level will be hosted by a nation in the Small Countries Association.
