Background

edit

As of September 22,2024, based on the COMELEC's data, the province voting population is 981,785; increased by 3.37% or equivalent to 31,994 additional electorate from the 2022 elections voter count of 949,791, making Bohol the one of the vote-rich provinces in the country.[1][2]

From October 1 to 8, 2024, a total of 36 candidates submitted their respective certificates of candidacy (COC) at the Provincial COMELEC office to contest any of the 15 provincial and congressional seats in the province.
