The 2025 Minneapolis mayoral election is scheduled to be held on November 4, 2025. Incumbent mayor Jacob Frey is eligible to run for re-election to a third term, and has stated that he plans to do so.[1] Minneapolis uses instant-runoff voting, also known as ranked choice voting, in its mayoral elections.
