The 34th Dáil will be elected at the 2024 general election on Friday, 29 November 2024, and is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. The members of Dáil Éireann, the house of representatives of the Oireachtas (legislature) of Ireland, are known as TDs. It will sit with the 27th Seanad as the Houses of the Oireachtas. There will be 174 TDs in the 34th Dáil, an increase of 14 from the 33rd Dáil.

Seán Ó Fearghaíl, the outgoing Ceann Comhairle, will be returned automatically for Kildare South as he did not announce to the Dáil that he did not wish to be returned.[1] He will not seek re-election as Ceann Comhairle, and will return as a member of the Fianna Fáil parliamentary party.[2]
