The A22 is a future Motorway planned to bypass the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia starting from the industrial zone of Dali to the A9 near Nicosia International Airport. The first stage of the motorway from junction at A1 motorway to the junction at north of Tseri is under construction.[1] This motorway project includes plans for a tunnel below Lakatamia for the second stage. Further plans also include a connection road to Geri from the junction with A1.[2]

An unnumbered motorway starting from Anthoupolis Junction with A9 and going towards southwest of Nicosia through Kato Deftera towards Klirou is also included in this motorway project,[2] and is concurrently under construction.
