Gameplay
editThe player controls an archer named Zu, who rides a horse through the mountains. To attack incoming enemies, the player must shoot arrows.[1]

Development and release
editThe game was developed by Taiwanese studio Sunhead Games, a two-person team composed of Lee Kuo and Chia-Yu Chen.[3] The pair combined their ideas; Lee-Kuo was inspired by artistic games, while Chia-Yu prefers action.[3]
A Ride into the Mountains was released on the App Store on July 23, 2013.[4]
