Aaron Bohl (born January 1, 1994) is an American college football coach. He is the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for the University of Wyoming, positions he has held since 2024.

Playing career

Bohl played high school football at Lincoln East. Coming out of high school, Bohl decided to commit to play college football at Minnesota State University Moorhead.[1] Bohl played four seasons as a linebacker for Minnesota State–Moorhead, where he was a three-year team captain, and was a Second-Team All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) his senior season.[2]

Coaching career

In 2017, Bohl got his first coaching job as a graduate assistant for Wyoming.[3] In 2019, Bohl was promoted to coach the Cowboy's linebackers.[4] After the 2023 season, Bohl was once again promoted by the Cowboys this time to serve as the team's defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.[5]

Personal life

Bohl is the son of former Wyoming head coach Craig Bohl.[6][7]
