Abdelkrim Benmbarek (Arabic: عبد الكريم بن مبارك) is an Algerian politician and the current secretary-general of the National Liberation Front.[1][2][3][4][5] He was formerly elected to the People's National Assembly from 2002 to 2007 and became the secretary-general of the FLN on 23 November 2023. Benmbarek was born in the Batna Province and became a school teacher. He also became a writer and published several educational books. Benmbarek was appointed as governor of Bouzaréah Governorate in 2021.[2][6]
