Abdullah Mason (born April 5, 2004) is an American professional boxer. He currently competes in the lightweight division.

Amateur career

Abdullah was regarded as the brightest prospect in Americas amateur system. He won National Junior Championships in 2017, the Eastern Regional Open in 2017 and 2018, the Junior Open in 2018 and 2019 and a USA Boxing Youth National Title in 2021. He finished up with a record of 65–15.[2]

Professional career

Mason signed with Top Rank when he turned pro. He made his debut on the undercard of Mikaela Mayer vs Maiva Hamadouche in Las Vegas. He stopped his opponent in the second round after a shot left him staggering and the referee jumped in.[3] Mason made his MGM Grand Arena on the undercard of Oscar Valdez vs Shakur Stevenson. He knocked out Argentine Luciano Ramos in the first round.[4] Mason returned to the MGM Grand Arena on the undercard of Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko. He knocked out American Desmond Lyons in the sixth round.[5] Mason made his T-Mobile Arena debut on the undercard of Shakur Stevenson vs Edwin De La Santos. He knocked out Argentine Jose Cardenas in the second round.[6]
