Abigail Morris (singer)

Abigail Mary Eliza Kemp Morris (born October 19, 1999) is the lead singer of the British indie rock band The Last Dinner Party.

Early life and education

Morris grew up in London. She studied in a catholic boarding school. She started writing songs when she was thirteen. She has always known she wanted to be either an actress or a musician in a rock band.

She moved back to London to study English at university at 18 years old. During her studies she started singing her original songs across London.

Career

In 2018, Morris started performing under the name Amorina and releasing songs on SoundCloud. In 2019, she joined the band Zooz as a singer during their live sets.

She met Lizzie Mayland (guitar) and Georgia Davies (bass) in the first week of university by frequenting The Windmilll in London. They talked about creating a band and Morris showed them a demo of Burn Alive, a song that would later find itself onto their 2024 album Prelude to Ecstasy. They created in 2019 a band called The Dinner Party, which would later become The Last Dinner Party.
