Adrian Nikçi (born 10 November 1989) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.[2] Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikçi represented Switzerland internationally.

Club career

Nikçi previously played with FC Zürich in the Swiss Super League.[3]

At the end of the 2016–17 season, he was released by Union Berlin.[4]

International career

While Nikçi represented Switzerland at U19 and U21 levels,[5] he expressed his interest in playing for Albania. He manifested this also in celebrating a goal by making the eagle sign with his two hands, the eagle being the symbol of the Albanian flag.[6]
