Afghanistan women's national volleyball team

The Afghanistan women's national volleyball team represents Afghanistan in international women's volleyball competitions and friendly matches.

In the 2010s, the Islamic Republic era, Afghanistan already has a women's national volleyball team.[2]

After the 2021 Fall of Kabul to the Taliban, women in Afghanistan were barred from playing sports.

Despite this, Afghanistan had a women's national team, made up from its diaspora, at the 2022 Asian Games.[3][4][5]
