Lieutenant General Ahmad Fathy Ibrahim Khalifa (Egyptian Arabic: أحمد فتحي إبراهيم خليفة; born October 17, 1966) is an Egyptian Army officer. He is the current chief of staff of the Armed Forces since July 3, 2024.[1][2]

He graduated from the Military College in 1987, Class 80.[1][2]

Career

He rose to all leadership positions in the artillery until he was appointed assistant director of the artillery, then Director of the Artillery Institute, then director of the Morale Affairs Department, then head of the Armed Forces Organization and Administration Authority, then head of the Armed Forces Operations Authority, then secretary-general of the Ministry of Defense.[1][2]
