Aida Salazar is a children's author. She was short listed for the Américas Award, Charlotte Huck Award, Cybils Award, and Jane Addams Children's Book Award. She won a Malka Penn Award,[1] and Caldecott Honor Book award.[2]
Life
editSalazar was born in Mexico. She grew up in Los Angeles.[3]
She co-founded the writers' group Las Musas.[4][5]
As of 2023, Salazar lives in Oakland, California.[3]
