Aishath Rameela is a Maldivian politician who was the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Welfare from 2023 until her resignation in 2024.[2] [3] She resigned from the office due to health issues relating to cancer diagnosis.

Career

Rameela started her career in 1990, as a nurse.[4]

She served as the Minister of State for Health during the Waheed and Yameen administration.[5][6][7] Rameela has a PhD and was the Registrar at the Maldives Medical and Dental Council.[8]
