Akhmat Tower is named after former first President of the Chechen Republic, Akhmad Kadyrov.[3]
The building is planned to be 435 m (1,427 ft) tall, with 100 floors. The design of the building is heavily influenced by Vainakh tower architecture, modeled after the military towers. The building will incorporate offices, apartments, a 5-star hotel, parking, a museum, and public spaces.
Architecture
editThe building has elements of traditional Chechen Nakh Architecture from its skyline and proportions, such as the architectural aspect of Chechen ethnic towers from the 12th century onwards. [4]
