Alexander Victor Prusin[a] (August 1, 1955 – August 13, 2018)[1] was a professor of history at the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology from 2001 to 2018.[2] He was born in born Lviv, Ukraine. He specialized in the history of Russia and Eastern Europe, nationalism, ethnic conflict, and genocide.[2]
