Ali Haidar Ahmed is a Maldivian politician who is the incumbent Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development.[2]

Early life and education
editHaidar obtained his Bachelor in Town and Country Planning from the University of Manchester and his PhD in Planning Studies from the University College London.[3]
Career
editHaidar served as the Housing Minister for three months, at the end of Maumoon’s administration.[2] He later endorsed Mohamed Muizzu during the 2021 Malé city Mayor election, he was later appointed as the Minister of Housing, Land and Urban Development in 2023.[3]
