Amanda Elmore (born March 13, 1991) is an American rower. She won the gold medal in the quad sculls at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and won the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the Woman's eight.[1] Elmore graduated from Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Indiana in 2009, and earned a biology degree from Purdue University in 2013.[1][2] She then studied at the University of Michigan, graduating with Ph.D. in 2014.[3]
