Andreas Schnieders (22 December 1966 – 6 October 2022) was a German boxer.

He competed in the men's super heavyweight event at the 1988 Summer Olympics.[1]

After his career ended in 1994 he worked as a security guard at the Emsland Nuclear Power Plant.

Schnieders committed suicide on October 6, 2022. He was survived by his wife and two sons.[2]
