Andrew Kan Kai-yan (Chinese: 簡啟恩) is a Hong Kong law enforcement administrator who has been serving as the director of the National Security Department of the Hong Kong Police Force since December 2021.

Career
editIn December 2021, he was promoted to the directorship of the National Security Department, replacing Frederic Choi.[1]
Sanctions
editOn 15 January 2021, Kan was sanctioned by the government of the United States under Executive Order 13936 for his role in implementing the National Security Law.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
