Anolis planiceps, commonly known as the golden-scaled anole, orange-fanned leaf-litter anole, or goldenscale anole, is a species of lizard in the family Dactyloidae. The species is found in Venezuela, Guyana, Brazil, and Trinidad.[2]

Habitat
editThe preferred natural habitat of A. planiceps is forest, at altitudes of 40–1,800 m (130–5,910 ft).[1]
Description
editA. planiceps may attain a snout-to-vent length (SVL) of 7.5 cm (3.0 in).[2]

editThe synonym, A. eewi, was named in honor of American herpetologist Ernest Edward Williams, a wordplay on his initials, E.E.W.[3]
