Anwar Tarra born 11 January 1987 in Gowa)[1] is an Indonesian canoeist. He won the gold medal with his teammate Eka Octarorianus in Men's C-2 5000 metres at 2009 Asian Championships in Azadi Lake, Tehran in September 2009.

Career

Tarra began his career as part of the Indonesian Rowing Sports Association (PODSI) of Gowa Regency. He was nurtured by Hasanuddin Kamal as Chairman of PODSI Gowa Regency as well as Director of PDAM Tirta Jeneberang.

Tarra started his career from the junior national training program, where he showed his talent and skill. He has achieved a number of brilliant achievements.[2]
