Park Min-jun, better known by his stage name Aoora, is a South Korean singer and composer.[1] He initially gained prominence as a member of the K-pop group AA (Double A), which debuted in 2011 under Wellmade Star Entertainment. In 2023, he participated in the Indian reality show, Bigg Boss Season 17.

Following the breakup of AA in 2014[citation needed], Aoora pursued a solo career, establishing himself with a discography that includes pop, R&B, and electronic dance music. His song "Because I'm Crazy" was well received.[2]
In September 2023, Aoora and fellow K-pop artist DJ Fridayy performed multiple concerts in India as part of a cultural celebration commemorating the fifthieth anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and South Korea.[3] As a result, Aoora gained attention for highlighting Indo-Korean collaborations and inclusivity in his music.[4][5][3]
Career
editAoora started his career as a K-pop idol in the boy band AA. His solo career as a music producer started in 2014.[citation needed] In May 2016, he withdrew from AA.[6] In 2023, he started his musical journey in India. He became the first Korean to be part of India’s reality show Big boss season 17. He also appeared on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 11 in January 2024.[7]
