Aranmanai (transl. Palace) is an Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film series created and directed by Sundar C, consisting of Aranmanai (2014), Aranmanai 2 (2016), Aranmanai 3 (2021) and Aranmanai 4 (2024). All films were successful at the box office, continuing the trend of the comedy horror genre in Kollywood that began with Chandramukhi (2005).[1][2][3][4]

- Aranmanai (2014): A family returns to their hometown to sell their ancestral palace. However, their arrival is marred by supernatural events, and Ravi, a relative of the family, decides to uncover the truth.[6]
- Aranmanai 2 (2016): Murali returns to his ancestral home along with his fiancée when his father lands in a coma under mysterious circumstances. His life takes a turn when he uncovers his family's dark secrets.[7]
- Aranmanai 3 (2021): Jyothi is haunted by an unknown spirit in her childhood. Years later, when the spirit starts haunting someone close to her, she decides to unearth the spirit's connection with her family.[8]
- Aranmanai 4 (2024): A lawyer tries to discover the truth of his sister's mysterious death, soon he gets caught into the trap of a dangerous demon called Baak.[9]
