Aspergillus conjunctus

Aspergillus conjunctus is a species of fungus in the genus Aspergillus. It is from the Sparsi section.[2][3] The species was first described in 1965.[1] It has been isolated from forest soil in Costa Rica.[2] It has been reported to produce auroglaucin.[2]

Growth and morphology

A. conjunctus has been cultivated on both Czapek yeast extract agar (CYA) plates and Malt Extract Agar Oxoid® (MEAOX) plates. The growth morphology of the colonies can be seen in the pictures below.
