The Aztech WaveRider (commonly referred to as "AWR") is a family of personal computer sound cards.
Description
editAWR began to be manufactured in Singapore in 1995. It produces stereo (two channels) sound in 16-bit linear pulse code modulation and uses the 16 bit ISA connection interface, involving MIDI and Wavetable synthesis, as well as Yamaha YMF262.[1] At one time, sound cards from Aztech Labs competed with those produced by Creative Technology and Media Vision.[2]
