Balsamia gunerii is a species of fungus from the genus Balsamia.[1] It was previously listed in genus Barssia.[1]

Description
editBalsamia gunerii has a reddish-brown exterior and is roughly between 1–3 cm (0.39–1.18 in) in diameter. It has a coarse and bumpy skin with a textured white interior that appears like styrofoam.[2]
