Banbhore Division (Sindhi: ڀنڀور ڊويزن), also known as "Thatta Division" or "Bhambore Division", was a proposed division of Sindh.[1] It was supposed to include Thatta, Sujawal and Badin districts; all three of these districts were included in the Hyderabad Division.[2][3]

Despite the announcement in April 2014,[4][5] the creation of the division never materialized into an official decision, including no formal administrative orders or notifications to solidify Bhambhore as a new division. The excitement and immediate reporting by newspapers on the announcement also contributed to the public and media assumption and confusion that the new division had been officially established.[1] Furthermore, neither the 2017 and 2023 censuses of Pakistan included Banbhore Division, including Thatta, Sujawal and Badin districts in the Hyderabad Division.[6][7]
