Bangwe is an administrative ward in Kigoma-Ujiji District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 10.2 km2 (3.9 sq mi),[2] and has an average elevation of 770 m (2,530 ft).[3] The Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics reported 17,009 people in the ward in 2016, up from 15,453 in 2012.[1]: 123 [4]: 150
