Other site services include bulk account registration,[1] unconventional money-making methods, social media botting,[2] and developments in the SEO space.[2][3] It features a marketplace where companies and individuals can advertise their products. But only after BlackHatWorld employees have verified the success and dependability of the organization.[4] Damien Trevatt, also known online as Diamond Damien,[5] is known as the current owner of BlackHatWorld.[6]
History
editThe platform began in the early 2000s and has outlived many other platforms launched during the same period. As is the case with many platforms that rely heavily on user-generated material, it is difficult to determine the actual date of creation of the platform. Wayback Machine shows the platform live as early as 2006 and data on the platform itself reveals existence as early as 2001.[7]
Sections of the platform
editBlackHatWorld has a community of users who express an interest in internet marketing and SEO related knowledge which is discussed and shared on the platform.[7] The platform does not only focus on black-hat marketing practices, but also has sections dedicated to grey hat and white hat activities. There is also a dedicated "My Journey" section for the community to actively share their experiences and journey with internet marketing.[8]
One of the platform's most appealing features is the marketplace. Customers get access to a broad range of online marketing services through the marketplace. The range of services includes anything from website construction to link building, hosting, and website sales. Sellers benefit from increased user trust since each individual who wants to sell must be verified. Any individual has the ability to create a listing on the marketplace. An updated account that is not subject to any penalties is all that the platform requires. Reviews of new postings must be performed, which includes offering BlackHatWorld staff the service. This is done to verify that the seller is able to provide the service exactly as promised.[7]
