Bodoland Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Kokrajhar, Bodoland, Assam. It is the first professional club from Bodoland to participate in the Durand Cup.[1][2]

History

Bodoland FC was established in 2022 to uplift the standard of football in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR). Represented the BTR in the 1st Inter Sixth Schedule Council Premier Football League tournament (ISPL) in 2022, the team won the championship by defeating Lai Autonomous District Council of Mizoram.[3] In that year it also participated in the Baji Rout Cup in Odisha. On 5 August 2023, the club has entered into national football map of the country through its participation in the 2023 Durand Cup.[4][5]
