History
editAt the beginning of the 18th century Bonzo, which earlier was part of the belongings of the Lanzo châtelain, was given as a fief to counts Valfrè from Bra.[3] Bonzo counted 669 inhabitants in 1774 and 501 in 1855.[4]
Most of the men during the winter used to move from the village in order to look for jobs in the Po plain and further.[5]
