Budget Office of the Federation is a Federal government parastatal which was established to provide budget function, implement budget and fiscal policies of the Federal Government of Nigeria with 11 departments in 2024 President Bola Tinubu appointed Tanimu Yakubu as the Director General of the Budget Office of the Federation after the expiration of Ben Akabueze tenure.[1][2][3]

Functions
editThe parastatal performed the functions of Budget and it implementation with different departments with specific roles and responsibilities to ensure that the National budget meets their needs while upholding strict fiscal discipline.[4][5]
