Buhanda is an administrative ward in Kigoma-Ujiji District of Kigoma Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 5.5 km2 (2.1 sq mi),[2] and has an average elevation of 864 m (2,835 ft).[3] In 2016 the Tanzania National Bureau of Statistics report there were 8,397 people in the ward, from 7,629 in 2012.[1]: 123 [4]: 150
