Design

edit

The CAP 450 is a recreational keelboat, built predominantly of fiberglass, with wood trim. It has a fractional sloop rig. The hull has a raked stem, an angled transom, a transom-hung rudder controlled by a tiller and a fixed long keel. It displaces 992 lb (450 kg).[1][2]

The boat has a draft of 1.48 ft (0.45 m) with the standard long keel.[1][2]

The design has a hull speed of 5.02 kn (9.30 km/h).[2]
