Those kingdoms, duchies and other crown lands (Kronländer) of the Kingdom of Hungary from 1867 to 1918. Formally known as the Lands of the Crown of Saint Stephen, it was informally known as "Transleithania". Following the constitutional changes of the Austro-Hungarian Compromise of 1867, the Transleithanian crown lands had a separate legal identity to "The Kingdoms and Lands represented in the Imperial Council", informally known as "Cisleithania". Together, Transleithania and Cisleithania constituted the Austro-Hungarian Empire or "Dual Monarchy".
