Regions in Idaho describes geographic areas of the state of Idaho. The state is rich in natural beauty and natural barriers, which make for distinct divisions. Additionally, the creation of Indian reservations, wildlife areas, national forests, and other entities increases the descriptors used. Designations are also included which are used by the media to describe metropolitan areas. Some of the regions share characteristics with neighboring areas in Montana, Wyoming, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Utah and Alberta (Canada).
The Idaho Transportation Department has the configured the state into six administrative districts.
The Idaho Tourism Division separates the state into seven regions.
