This is for players of the Springfield Ponies minor league baseball team based in Springfield, Massachusetts, which played most seasons between 1893 and 1934.
The Springfield Ponies competed in the older Eastern League (1893–1894, 1896–1900), Connecticut State League (1902–1912), Eastern Association (1913–1914), newer Eastern League (1916, 1918–1931), and Northeastern League (1934).
Note that a team competed in 1895 as the Springfield Maroons, in 1915 as the Springfield Tips, and in 1917 as the Springfield Green Sox. The Springfield Rifles competed in 1932 and 1942–1943. The Springfield Cubs competed from 1948 to 1953.
