Category:Yet another

Welcome to Yet another Category (YaCat). It groups together those entities that follow the YA naming convention. Note: only self-referentially named entities belong here, the names of which must explicitly refer to their own class or kind, or even their very nature.

Examples:

• "YAWN" (Yet Another Web Navigator): a (hypothetical) browser.
• "Yacc": a compiler-compiler.
• "YANG" (Yet Another Next Generation): one more specification-bound technology that purports to be the new state of the art.

That, by definition, excludes articles such as Yet Another Movie (which is actually a song, not a film, hence not self-referential), Yet Another Day, and Yet Another Side of Me, among others. Not all articles that start with YA belong here. Do look up what an acronym means, if the article's body does not already state so (for example, in YARD, YA is "Yay! A", not "Yet Another"). Once found and confirmed, the expanded meaning should ideally be added (with a citation) to the given article, for future reference.

Additionally, if the main redirect to an article follows this naming convention (e.g. Y.A.S.U.), but the target article does not (e.g. Daemon Tools), then only the redirect should be added to this category, otherwise (as in the case of YaST and its redirect Yet another Setup Tool) add only the article.
