I've read the warning about nobody looking at Category Talk Pages, but I thought I'd post this and let it sizzle for a while. Is it preferable to list a unit by its designation when it was assigned to Air/Aerospace Defense Command, or by its current designation (which is probably the location of its article. An example is 15th Fighter Group -- the 1950s designation of the unit while it was in ADC and 15th Wing -- its current designation.) The group is a redirect to the wing, so no matter which you choose, you get the information Wiki has, but putting the category box on the redirect page makes this page look more accurate. I'll probably be bold and keep on adding italicized entries to this category until someone asks me to stop and explains why, though.--Lineagegeek (talk) 22:53, 29 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
