Albini is often listed as engineer. Regardless whether this may be out of modesty or some other reason, and whether he may in fact be doing some or a lot of production in these cases, the fact remains that the primary source (the album's liner notes) says engineer, not producer. I think it's a slippery slope towards original research if we presume he was in all cases definitely doing production duties. The line between "producer" and "engineer" may be sometimes grey anyway, in which case drawing the distinction ourselves may be subjective. I don't argue that he may well have been producing in some or many of the instances he was listed as engineer, but I just think it's safer and more encyclopedic to keep the category more general.
