Article naming conventions

The article names for amateur radio bands don't exactly follow any rule. Would it be appropriate to rename all the articles to "xx meters radio band" like the 80 meters radio band? To me it sounds like the most descriptive one. I'm not exactly sure if it's grammatical or not, as I'm not a native speaker (would "xx meter radio band" be correct?). –Mysid 13:47, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
